For an individual KYC the documents needed are:

  • Selfie with thumbs up
  • National ID back and front
  • Foreign certificate/passport (for non-Kenyans).

Note: KRA pin certificate and residential proof of address are needed for Tier 2 and Tier 3 wallets respectively.

  • Business KRA pin certificate, 
  • Proof of address (amenities bill),

  • Swift customer service

RhoKIT has a provision for part-time employees and contract employees to receive payroll payments without a wallet.

No. If a user desires to delete a wallet or leave the platform, they can contact support for assistance.

Yes, can have multiple wallets.

No. Unique details are needed for each user.

Yes. A company can onboard users who get verification emails to complete authorization to their accounts and wallets.

RhoKIT onboarding flow involves company admin signing up and adding employees in their different roles.

No. The email and national ID must be unique.

No. Users only get accounts after the company admin or master registers them.

Yes. You need successful activation to be able to upload documents for verification.

No. An account once created cannot be deleted by a user.  Please contact customer support.

Yes. This can be due to system delays, network issues, an expired OTP. The user has to login again and get a new OTP to use.

No. The counterparty or -parties create a wallet by themselves. Introducer cannot create a wallet for them.

Yes. Request a reset link and wait at least 24 hours before requesting another one if needed.

Yes, it may fail due to IPRS verification issues, particularly with foreign certificates and passports. Please contact the support team for assistance.

Yes, the selfie check will fail if it is taken without a thumbs-up.  Kindly upload a selfie photo with thumbs-up.

Yes. This can occur due to discrepancies in the information provided, invalid documents, and non-compliance with regulatory requirements. If this happens, please contact support for further assistance. The resolution process typically takes 2-3 days.
